What is K-Tag?

K-Tag is a new stand alone unit with the ability to tune a vast number of vehicle for the first time!

K-Tag also offers tuning for motorbikes, jet ski’s, marine and TuneProtect vehicles.

These new options will allow the us to tune a vast number of Japanese performance vehicles such as Nissan (Skyline & 350Z), most Honda vehicles, Hyundai & Subaru.

The ECU will need to be removed and workedon, on a dedicated workbench. As well as this, K-Tag will also combine the new ECU’s that hold the Anti-Tuning protocols. This will allow you to tune ECU’s from 2009/10 onwards that are unable to be tuned through the OBD Diagnostic port, aka TuneProtect ECUs, locked at factory level.  

Also available with K-Tag is the option to return to BDM tuning. This covers vehicles that do not have a K-Line Communication between the ECU and OBD port such as Mercedes AMG models and Ford ST models not covered through the OBD.

Many more vehicles are being added to the application list on a weekly basis, and the list above is not exclusive, merely a glimpse at what can now be tuned, please contact us if you are unsure about your vehicle, but one thing to remember is that K-Tag is not tuning through the OBD port……for that we still have our Kessv2 OBD Re-Mapping equipment to count on!

Our standard price for K-TAG Re-Mapping is £299

This process MUST be carried out at our workshop, we are unable to offer a mobile service because of the technical process required to 'bench tune' vehicles of this nature.

We require the vehicle for 1 business day - should it be completed sooner, we can arrange for you to collect, or us to deliver your vehicle back to you sooner.

All maps are carried out by our fully qualified senior technician, fully insured.
